Defeating ISIS; Helping Iran

President Obama must be careful not to “degrade and destroy” ISIS in Iraq and Syria to the point of helping Iran and its axis of evil step into the vacuum that would be created and establish its own Islamic Shiite caliphate spreading from Lebanon through Syria and Iraq to Iran itself.

   So I am reading this collection of short stories, "Side Jobs", by Jim Butcher. It's part of the Dreseden files series of books. I he makes and interesting point. As part of the action in one of the stories, The "Old Demons" are trying to get back to Earth to wreck havoc. The reason they can't is no one believes in them anymore. Butcher says the same thing about the "Old Gods."
